I was out around the bay and the internet was down so i couldn’t post but this post is a review for a new eatery in downtown st johns Newfoundland. It’s called…Smokes poutinerie and it’s good.  I got the traditional poutine and it was great. In my opinion anyway. So for you poutine lovers out there that live in or are visiting St. John’s Newfoundland, try smokes poutinerie on 165  water street. And also go to Menchie’s frozen yogurt which I’m pretty sure is on kenmount road.

apologies and happiness (and possibly threats)

OK! Let’s start with the apologies.  I’m sorry for not posting in several days.  I have some excuses so you decide if your going to forgive me or not.:)

1. I didn’t know what to post about

2. I forgot to post

3. I was getting ready to go camping for the weekend

4. I went camping for the weekend

Now, here are some reasons why you should forgive me.

1. Because it’s summer so I’ll be a bit busier therefore I will not be posting as often as I used to

2. :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

3. Because I just used a lot of smileys and smileys make everything better

Alright then now, the possible threats that are now certain instead of possible because I’m using them and…ok, moving on.

If you don’t forgive me, this vicious animal of death( that is not an adorable unicorn that doesn’t even exist and wouldn’t hurt a fly if it did) will eat you in your sleep.  There’s your threat, now we move on to happiness.

Alright, I went camping at Northern bay sands and it was awesome!  So if you get a chance to go camping and are wondering where to go, I suggest La Manche or Northern bay sands.  La Manche is about a 30 to 45 minute drive from St. Johns and Northern Bay Sands is about An hour and a half drive from St. Johns.

I’m most likely going to go and see Ice-Age 4 continental drift tomorrow. I may and may not but if I do, there will be a review when I have time to do one.

Snow White and the Huntsman review

Snow white and the huntsman starts with a queen who is kind and beautiful and she has a beautiful daughter.  She teaches her daughter to be kind just like she is and one day, the queen dies.  Her husband and daughter are crushed and eventually the king gets remarried to the most beautiful woman that he’s ever met since his wife passed away.  This new woman kills the king and takes over the castle and all is dark.  She keeps snow white prisoner and drains youth from young girls as she plans to live forever and to stay beautiful forever.  She learns that if she can kill snow white and hold her heart in her hand that she will no longer have to drain youth from young, beautiful women to live and stay beautiful forever.  But, Snow White is the only one who can kill the queen.  Snow white escapes the castle and the queen sends the huntsman to go find her but when the huntsman finds her and learns that when he brings her back that she will be killed, he refuses to bring her back.  It just continues from there and I won’t tell you any more.

It’s directed by Rupert Sanders and written by Evan Daugherty,  John Lee Hancock and, Hossein Amini.

Purple

This post is all about purple.  I’ve never had just random posts about things that I like so now, I’ll write one.  Purple is my favorite color.

◄▬This is just several shades of purple in case you didn’t notice.

◄▬These are cupcakes, another thing that I like but so that they relate to the subject of this post (purple) I made sure to get a picture of cupcakes with purple icing.

◄▬Once again, to point out the obvious, these are purple flowers.

◄▬Here are some purple shoes.  Purple is my favorite  color and as a girl, I like shoes so ta-da!

Sister act review

This post is a movie review for the movie sister act.

Sister act came out in 1992 so it is a fairly old movie.  Sister act was written by Joseph Howard and directed by Emile Ardolino.

Sister act stars Whoopi Goldberg as Deloris Van Cartier/Sister Mary Clarence,  Maggie Smith as Mother Superior, Kathy Najimi as Sister Mary Patrick, Wendy Makkena  as Sister Mary Robert, Mary Wickes as Sister Mary Lazarus, Harvey Keitel as Vince LaRocca and Bill Nunn as Lt. Eddie Souther.

Sister act is about a woman named Deloris Van Cartier who is a lounge singer and the girlfriend of a mob criminal,  she witnesses a murder and goes to the police, only then does she find out that her boyfriend, Vince LaRocca is a well known criminal to the police.  Lt. Eddie Souther has to hide her to keep safe and decides to put her in a convent and have her dress as a nun.  The problem is,  she’s not exactly nun material.

IMDB gives Sister Act a 5.9out of 10 buti give it a…..drum roll please…
